Terms & Conditions

General

By using this website to place an order and/or to finalise a purchase with Mavericks Western Wear Rockhampton (Mavericks), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. All orders placed via this website must be done in good faith and are considered to be a contract to buy.

Legal agreement

By ordering products from this website you agree that possession of such goods breaks no law in your country, state or territory and that no laws will be broken by shipping the goods to your country, state or territory.

All brand names and logos used in this website remain the property of their respective owners. All images on this website are either the property of Mavericks or of their respective owners, which ever is applicable. No deep linking to pages or embedding of images from this site is allowed except bysearch engines which provide such functionality for the sole purpose of providing search results to the general internet public.

Payments

Payment in full must be received and verified before any goods are shipped. Payments are to be made in Australian dollars ($AUD), and must include all shipping and handling costs as well as all applicable taxes (such as GST). Payments may be made via the National Bank SIPS payment gateway, however alternative methods of payment may be arranged by contacting Mavericks. Please keep your invoice as it may be used as proof of purchase, To assist us with tracking and verifying your order, please provide us with your invoice number with all communications. When paying via the National Bank SIPS payment gateway, you deal directly with the National to make the payment, and at no time do we see your credit card details. Your session with the National is secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and your credit card and personal details are encrypted when transmitted over the internet.

Pricing

Prices listed on the website are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include GST, but do not include shipping and handling costs, which are applied in the checkout process. Payments will only be accepted in $AUD.

Product and shipping pricing may change without notice. In the event that there is a difference between the invoiced price of an item and the price shown on the website, the invoiced amount will be considered more accurate, except in the situation where the invoiced amount was deemed incorrect at the time that the order was placed. In this situation, you will be contacted directly and further steps will be taken to resolve the issue. The same applies to shipping and handling costs.

Shipping and handling

Unless you organise alternative shipping at your own expense, all orders will be shipped via Australia Post, except in the event where this is impractical or impossible, and an alternative courier will be used. The total delivery time is the time until the products are available plus the shipping time. The availability time will vary depending on products currently in stock. If requested products are out of stock you will be notified and given the option of changing your order to reduce the delivery time. The shipping time is dependant on your location as well as environmental factors, and as such is out of the control of Mavericks. When Australia Post is the courier used, the shipping and handling costs are dependant on both the weight and the destination. Other couriers may use different methods of calculation. If your delivery requirements are exceptional, please let Mavericks know at the time of order. Shipping and handling costs do not include insurance. If you require this please let us know at the time of order.

Mavericks ships to, and accepts orders from, anywhere in the world.

Returns

Mavericks does not offer cash refunds for non-disputed transactions under any circumstances. All sales are final and only valid returns (such as for faults, incorrect products, wrong size, etc) will be replaced or a credited (for the original invoiced value of the product). You must contact Mavericks with a description of the problem and receive authorisation from Mavericks before returning any products. The return address will be provided with this authorisation. Returns must include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, etc. Shipping of the product(s) to Mavericks must be paid for by you. If the reason for return is found to be your responsibility (for example ordering an incorrect product, wrong size or colour, etc), return costs will be paid for by you. If a product is not found to be defective, incorrect, etc., it will be shipped back to you at your expense. If in any situation you refuse to pay additional costs including postage and handling, Mavericks will hold the product(s) until those costs are met.

The time taken to return or exchange the products will depend on factors such as normal shipping time, restocking, and our supplier's returns procedures.

Mavericks accepts no responsibility for products that are damaged, stolen or lost during shipping.

Transactions that are disputed (e.g., transactions believed to be made using a stolen credit card) will be taken up with our payment gateway provider (National Australia Bank) and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Any transaction that is disputed will stop the order process until the matter is resolved.

Our privacy policy may contain additional terms and conditions of the use of this website, and as such must be read in conjunction with this document.
